Native American Burial Ground in Washington State
While working on a bridge, construction workers in Port Angeles, Washington, inadvertently stumbled upon a huge Native American burial ground. Archaeologists were called to the scene and, thus far, they have discovered what is perhaps the largest prehistoric Native American village and burial ground in the United States. The findings include many ceremonial artifacts, some of which are dated back to 1,700 years. You can find accounts of this discovery in major newspapers across the country.
